Katy Perry may have been billed as this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show but it was clearly all about Missy!
The “Fireworks” popstar, who opened up the show on an enormous robotic tiger while performing “Roar,” gave fans an awesome treat tonight when she brought out our fav for a mini-set of her own!
Following Katy’s playful performance of “California Gurls” that saw the pop star singing and dancing with dancers in shark costumes, Missy and her crew came through and shut the University of Phoenix stadium down with a short but spectacular performance of her biggest hits. “Work It,” “Get Ur Freak On” and her most successful single to date, “Lose Control,” which had folks — both at the stadium and at home — going HAM.
It was definitely a sight for sore eyes and a reminder to the over 100 million people watching that Missy hasn’t lost anything but some weight! The rap queen wasn’t the only artist up Katy’s sleeve as the singer also brought out Lenny Kravitz for a duet of “I Kissed A Girl.”
